Hope Room Coordinator Needed
This person or group would work with the Volunteer Manager to oversee the
organization of the donations that come into the Hope Room which is the area
we use to make donations available to our clients free of charge. Responsibilities
would include sorting and managing the flow of the donations that come in,
scheduling volunteers to sort the donations, keeping items arranged in categories
for easy access, and helping to coordinate seasonal change-overs. They would
also be available to assist during hours when the Hope Room is open to clients.
I estimate a time commitment of 1-2 hours weekly and scheduling would be flexible
and at the convenience of the volunteer. This opportunity would appeal to
those with a take charge attitude who enjoy organizing and working with some
independence, a person who feels comfortable leading or coordinating a project.
